Tillman Trophy at Knole Park

 

Final rounds of 66, 66 (8 under on the day) in less than ideal conditions saw William Whiteoak of Shipley Golf Club into a three way play off with Taylor Stote (Enmore GC) and Olly Huggins (Frilford Heath) all being -4 over the four rounds. Taylor Stote won the sudden death play off on the second extra hole. Liam Burns (73, 68) finished on level par overall and in 6th place; Mark Collins tied for 13th at +3 having shot two level par rounds of 70.

After the two qualifying rounds of the Tillman Trophy which is, this year, being held in Kent at Knole Park, two Kent players made the cut (40 and ties) - Kent Amateur Champion, Mark Collins who, at +3, lies in joint 28th and Liam Burns who is at -1, two shots off the lead and in 6th place.  With 36 holes to play on Thursday 20th July, there is still all to play for.  Live updates as cards come in can be viewed on the Surrey Golf Union website (
