MESSAGE FROM CODE BLUE CPR

"Most golf clubs will say they have a defibrillator in the clubhouse and they have trained their staff, but we are still losing over 300 golfers a year on UK courses from cardiac arrest. The most important thing is time.

In the event of one of their playing partners having a cardiac arrest, golfers need to know what to do, and defibrillators need to be close by. Every minute without CPR or Defibrillation, survival rates drop by 10%.

This is why we at Code Blue are creating a package to allow defibrillators to be placed anywhere on the course, and come to train your members as we have done at many clubs across the country."

HOW MUCH CAN MY CLUB CLAIM

Up to £500.00 per club. Only one claim may be made by a club throughout the life of the grant.

PROCESS - HOW TO APPLY

All affiliated Kent clubs can apply for the grant using the online application form below.

Once the purchase of the equipment/training course is completed, invoices for this should be submitted to Kent Golf Ltd in order that we can look to reimburse up to £500.00. Additional documentation may be requested if necessary. Clubs will be asked to provide some narrative and photo evidence showing the impact of the grant before funds are paid out. We would like to publicise the grant and encourage other clubs to come forward and apply. We will use these photos and stories for our social media channels.

TIMEFRAMES

The deadline date for applying for the grant is 31st December 2026. All grant applications will be reviewed on a timely basis and the club will be notified via email shortly after confirming whether the application has been successful or not.
