Junior Boys and Girls Coaching & Player Development Programme

If you would like to take part in the Junior Academy and do not have a handicap you will not have a CDH number
When filling out a form if it does request the CDH, just write in N/A

An Annual Junior Player Profile needs to be received at the office (Kent Golf Union Ltd., c/o Littlestone Golf Club, St. Andrews Road, Littlestone, New Romney, Kent. TN28 8RB prior to taking part.  Current forms expire at the end of August.
Please supply a new Player Profile for 2019/2020. 



Kent Golf can now confirm there are five venues chosen for junior boys and girls who would like to achieve a handicap through our coaching and development programme.

You must be aged between 10 to 14 years of age on the 1st January 2020
You must have a handicap of 28 or less please be aware a lowest handicap ballot will take place if over subscribed
An Annual Junior Player Profile, Code of Conduct for Young Golfers and Code of Conduct for Parents/Careers of Young Golfers must be completed and returned to the KGU office at Littlestone
Entry fee payment of £25 must been received prior to the event forwarded to Kent Golf
12 per group Wednesdays & Saturdays once a month between September 2019 – February 2020

This includes

Advance PGA Professional expert advice 
Full training given when using Top Tracer and how it can be of benefit
Range balls included during the coaching sessions, on behalf of Kent Golf
Open to current County Team Squad members and non-team Squad members
Possibility of squad selection through monitored results by James/Kim

​The entry fee of £25 which covers all 6 sessions, must be paid prior to the start of the course
For those extending their 6 sessions into April - July there is an added cost of £15

The age range has now been extended for 10 to 15 year olds

Kent Golf Sixes League Event - 15th June - Littlestone Warren Golf Club

Saturday 15th June saw a bright and breezy day for the Kent Golf Sixes League event being hosted at Littlestone Warren Golf Club with 4 Kent Clubs entering 3 pairs of Juniors.  

Littlestone Golf Club, Stonelees Golf Centre, Birchwood Park Golf and Country Club and Tonbridge Golf Centre competing and the scoring as follows:

 - Littlestone Golf Club - 100 Points 
 - Stonelees Golf Centre - 98 Points 
 - Birchwood Park Golf and Country Club - 97 Points 
 - Tonbridge Golf Centre - 95 Points

Inaugural Kent Golf Sixes League event - 18th May 2019 - Stonelees Golf Centre

Saturday 18th of May saw the inaugural Kent Golf Sixes League event hosted by the Golf Foundation at Stonelees Golf Centre. 

A fantastic day for weather and for participation with four Kent teams participating, and a well supported event by parents attending. 

Congratulations to all the players for their exemplary behaviour and well done to the winners Littlestone Golf Club.

         Kent Junior Golf Development  

Kim works with the Kent Golf Union and Kent County Ladies Golf Association and other key partners to ensure effective delivery and monitoring of junior golf.

Her aim is to raise the profile of golf activities within the County ensuring effective communication is promoted between all partners and agencies delivering golf throughout Kent.

Kim assists with junior fixtures and attends and officiates at the KGU Futures events as well as providing information and support to club junior organisers.

Tri-golf and Golf extreme equipment will be used to teach in Schools, Sports Clubs, Uniform groups and any other groups that are interested in Golf.
