County just miss out on national finals.
The England Golf South East Group Men's County Qualifier was held this year at South Bedfordshire and Kent just missed out by 7 shots to Hampshire.
After a disappointing morning round for some of the team of Mark Collins (Chart Hills), JJ Grey (Hever Castle), Charlie Haggar (Shooters Hill), Alfie Plant (Rochester & Cobham), Freddie Price (Royal Blackheath) and Darren Timms (Mid Kent), Kent staged a dramatic fight-back in temperatures of 30 degrees+ on quite a hilly course.
Special mention for Freddie Price (Royal Blackheath) who finished third in the individual table and Alfie Plant (Rochester & Cobham) and Darren Timms (Mid Kent) who both finished the day under par.
