Kent Seniors prevail at South Beds.
After a frost delayed start Kent Seniors prevailed by 3 to 2 over Suffolk in the morning semi-final. This after being down in 4 matches after 9 holes. However, in the final with Berks, Bucks & Oxon, they won 4 matches to 1 to take their 5th win in 6 years. This was the final match in charge as Seniors Captain for Nick Allen before retiring after almost 10 years in charge of the Seniors team. Commenting after the match Nick said the team were more Owls than Larks as they have often given him a scare with slow morning starts and then come good in the afternoon.
Kent Seniors are also English Seniors County Champions following their win at Ferndown earlier in October.
John Young now takes on the role as Seniors Captain.
