Women's Senior Team friendly match v Surrey

On a beautiful day, Kent's senior women took on Surrey at a green and leafy Lamberhurst Golf Club.
We played a friendly fourball better ball format with 4 teams per side and right from the start there were plenty of birdies on display from both teams. Although it was a close match right to the end, with the lead changing frequently, Surrey ended up as the strongest finishers, coming through with a 3.5 to 0.5 win.
These friendly matches are very useful in providing competitive county level experience to our players who are striving to improve their games and challenge for places on the full senior team.

Pat Morecroft (Nizels) and Anne Marie Forrester (Sundridge Park)
Ingrid Long (Sundridge Park) and Ann Third (Kings Hill)
