First meeting of the Kent Secretary's
Amongst the topics covered in the morning with the help of Kirsty Thirde, Compliance Officer England Golf and Andy Willems, South East Regional Development Officer England Golf, were the changes in the law relating to Disclosure and Barring Service (previously CRB) Safeguarding.
The afternoon session was mainly about affiliation fees and the County Card. This was followed by a "Question and Answer" session where many interesting and challenging questions were put to the Kent Golf Union.
