Handicap Committee Training

After successfully deliver over 30 handicapping workshops around the country, we have also created a shorter online session that supports in a handicapping capacity. Join Mike Greener, Handicap Coordinator, for this webinar where he revisits the Handicap Committee training to ensure that you are operating in accordance to England Golf guidance.

Course Rating™ Assessment

If you have ever wondered about Course Rating™ and how you can support the teams within your local area/county, then this is a great opportunity to learn and a gain better understanding on what it takes to rate a course as well as understanding the processes that goes into the rating. There is no pass mark for this assessment and it is here to be used as a test of knowledge and provide you with a learning opportunity. Board Member Learning Portfolio

If you are a Board Member at a club, a new Board Member or even looking to become part of the Board, then this webinar series will support you undertake a role on a Board effectively. The series includes;  The Club Support Offer, Good Governance, Board Diversity, Effective Chairperson, Successful Volunteer Recruitment, Empowering the Workforce and Strategic Planning.

Club Activator & Buddy workshops

As always, we are looking to run Club Activator Courses within clubs. If you have volunteers that would like to facilitate games and support the PGA Professional at your club then a Club Activator Course would be a great way to increase knowledge and confidence in supporting the delivery of activity, please contact your England Golf CSO more information or to find out more visit Club Activator Courses (englandgolf.org)

If you would like to add an extra layer to your customer experience for new members at your club, you may want to consider hosting a Buddy Workshop. The workshop aims to provide volunteers and current members with the required tools to ensure the experience is a welcoming and positive one.
