Disability Family Day report

Thank you to Stonelees GC for hosting the disability family golf day for the second year. The day was well supported this year, and the weather was perfect.
My thanks also goes to Gary Bason who organised the coaching, to the volunteers who helped so much on the day, and to Golfway company who attended and organised games for the juniors and took photographs / videos of the event.
A massive thank you go to our sponsors Variety Golf. Without their funding, we would not have been able to have organised this event cost free.
This will be my last year organising events and academies for disabilities. I have enjoyed this part of my JDO role the best, seeing all these very special juniors / young adults come from not being able to swing a golf club to hitting a ball quite far. I wish them all the best for the future, and they have promised me they will continue playing.
