Kent Senior Women's team v Kent Women’s 2nd team

The annual match between Kent Senior Women and Kent Women’s 2nd team was played at Royal St. George’s on a sunny but very windy day, making club choices challenging and leading to quite a few ball searches in the long rough. The match was closely contested all day long, with the 2nds winning the first game, then the next 4 matches being shared, 2 each, giving the 2nds a 3-2 lead. Fortunately for the seniors, they left the best to the last, winning the top 3 matches and running out as 5-3 winners.
Everyone declared the match to be a very enjoyable and challenging test of golf on a course that was in excellent condition.
