Abe Bignell – U18 Boys Team
Abe’s home club is Kings Hill GC, he has represented Kent since he was 12 years old and has been the under 16’s captain. He reached the final stages of open qualifying last year and won a number of adult and junior Kent competitions.

He says: “I’m very honoured to be asked to captain Kent under 18’s this year. We have an exceptionally talented squad and a superb team spirit that should make us hard to beat. I can’t wait to get going to show what the lads are capable of. I’ve known the lads for years and I admire all of them for their dedication, determination and commitment to play golf at the very highest level, I’m truly proud to have been asked to captain them this year.”

Scott Antoun – U16 Boys Team
Scott is a member of Kings Hill GC and Wildernesse GC. He currently plays off a handicap of 0 and was recently selected for the England Golf U18 South East Squad. He has represented Kent for the last five years and was the U14 team captain in 2022.

Scott is delighted to have been asked to captain the U16 team for 2024 and is looking forward to a very competitive year ahead.

Oliver McDonnell – U14 Boys Team
Oliver has been playing golf since he was a toddler. His current handicap is 2.0 at Rochester and Cobham Park GC.

Oliver has had many victories on various junior national tours. In 2021 he won the Wee Wonders British Boys Championship, shooting -4 in the final round at Gullane GC. In 2022 he was crowned BJGT U12 Order of Merit Champion.

Last year Oliver proudly captained the U13 team to victory in the Triple Shield, bringing the trophy back to Kent for the first time since 2010. Oliver is keen to build on this with the very talented U14 squad of 2024.

Anouk Woodhouse – Junior Girls Team
“I have played golf for about 10 years, but have only been playing in competitions for about 6 years. I started at Etchinghill GC where I had fun junior lessons and played with my dad. I am currently at Sene Valley GC and I was the junior captain there last year. Even though I don’t want a career in golf, I enjoy the sport very much, and hope that I will continue playing it for the rest of my life.”
