Kent U14 Boys Squad's first training session of the year

Our Kent U14 Boys Squad had their first training session yesterday at a sunny Hever Castle GC, with team coach Peter Parks, team manager Tim Ewer, and assistant manager Susie Ford. For the first sesion, we were lucky enough to have a visit from Dr Matt Cunliffe, a sports psychologist, who worked with the boys on focussed questions, getting to know more about each other's characters and strengths. Then we moved out onto the putting green and worked on pre-shot imagery and 'quiet-eye' practice.
The boys all really enjoyed their first session, and the development of team building and bonding within the squad was very obvious. Plus the official team kit was presented to the new boys coming into the squad.
We are looking forward to a successful 2024 with a great group.
