Kent Futures (North) report

The Kent Golf Junior season kicked off in earnest in early April with a Futures event at Gillingham GC. Twenty-one youngsters with handicaps ranging from 13 to 54 assembled to do battle on a beautifully sunny Spring morning.
Taking the honours with a splendid 45 points was Hayden Hoyle (Pedham Place) with the runner-up spot going to Caleb Twyman (Prince’s) with 40. Coming in third was Dexter Stavri (Prince’s) on 39 points, with Tilly Greatley (Shooters Hill) rounding out the prize winners on 36 points. All four of these young golfers came through our Kent Golf Junior Pathway from the Invictas and continue to show great promise.
Nearest the pin prizes went to Teo Rasteiro (Rochester & Cobham Park) and Tom Edmeads (Hever Castle).
