Foursomes Matchplay Knockout tournament for players with Handicap Index plus to 14.4 at closing date of entry.
Handicap allowance half of the difference between the combined Course Handicaps.

HANDICAPPING INFORMATION

From the 1st April shots to be given and received in any match should be calculated using the mixed tee calculator published by England Golf, inserting the slope rating, course rating and par of the tee set being used and the handicap indices of the four players in that match https://www.englandgolf.org/resource-detail/2024-whs-update-resources

Players may be from different clubs but need to nominate their home club for the pair.
Contact
Home team to make contact and offer at least 4 dates, spread over a minimum of 2 weeks, which must include weekday and weekend dates. Should the Home team not contact the Away team within 7 days of the relevant draw date, the Away team may choose the venue, but must at the time of contact, offer 4 dates, spread over a minimum of 2 weeks, which must include both weekday and weekend dates.
It is hoped that the home player’s club will allow the visiting player courtesy of the course for the purposes of the match. If courtesy is not allowed, both players will be expected to bear the cost of the green fee for the match in equal shares. The visiting player has no right to a practice round, unless that facility is granted by the home player’s club – the visiting player shall be solely responsible for any practice round green fee.

Replacements
Replacements are not allowed once a pair has played a match.

Carry only caddies allowed if the club has a carry only policy in place, ie no advice
