Lohan Trophy 2026 (Women & Girls) Rules
- FORMAT - Lohan Trophy -Foursomes Matchplay Knockout tournament.
- REPLACEMENTS - Replacements Should the nominated adult player be unable to play in a match through illness or for other valid reasons, a substitute will be allowed, provided the substituted player has not played in another pairing in the current competition. The junior player should revert to her original partner as soon as possible. No substitutes are allowed in the Final.
- HANDICAPS - No handicap limit
- HANDICAP ALLOWANCE - Handicap allowance half of the difference between the combined Course Handicaps, but in no round may any pair receive more than 18 shots
- PLAYERS - The pair comprises an adult and a Junior who must be under 18 years of age on 1 January in the year of the competition. Players may be from different clubs but need to nominate their home club for the pair. Relatives may play with juniors and Clubs may enter as many eligible pairs as they wish.
- MATCHES - matches must be played to a conclusion
- CADDIES - Caddies are not allowed in this competition. Refer to Kent Golf General Competition Conditions for further information.
- CONTACT - Home team to make contact and offer at least 4 dates, spread over a minimum of 2 weeks. Should the Home team not contact the Away team within 7 days of the relevant draw date, the Away team may choose the venue, but must at the time of contact, offer 4 dates, spread over a minimum of 2 weeks.
- GREEN FEE - It is hoped that the home player's club will allow the visiting player courtesy of the course for the purposes of the match. If courtesy is not allowed, both players will be expected to bear the cost of the green fee for the match in equal shares. The visiting player has no right to a practice round, unless that facility is granted by the home player's club – the visiting player shall be solely responsible for any practice round green fee.
