Kent Women's Amateur Championship - Round 2 Rules

1. Eligibility
Entry is limited to female playing members of Clubs affiliated and up to date with the payment of affiliation fees to KENT GOLF LIMITED who are in possession of a WHS Handicap Index of 14.4 or less.
The Kent club must be the player’s HOME CLUB.

2. Entries may be limited in number and, if necessary, higher handicaps will be subject to ballot.

3. The Competition
The qualifying competition will be 36 hole medal stroke play. At the end of 36 holes the leading 16 players will qualify for the match play rounds. If more than one player is tied for 16th place the match play places will be decided on count-back.
When the 16 qualifiers for the match play have been established there shall be no substitutions for any subsequent withdrawals.

Caddies are allowed, other than a qualified P.G.A. professional golfer.

4. Format:
Day 1 – 36 Hole Stroke Play Qualifying - Best 16 gross scores progress to Match Play
Day 2 – AM First round morning winners progress to Main Championship Quarter Finals. First round morning losers progress to 2nd Flight Quarter Finals
Day 2 – PM – Quarter Finals of Main Championship and Main Championship 2nd Flight
Day 3 - AM – Semi Finals of Main Championship and Main Championship 2nd Flight
Day 3 – PM – Finals of Main Championship and Main Championship 2nd Flight

5. The Maconochie-Hill Silver Claret Jug
The Women's Kent County Champion will hold the Maconochie-Hill Silver Claret Jug for one year. She will also be expected to represent the County in the England Golf "Champion of Champions" National Competition.
County Vouchers will be presented to the Runner Up and the losing Semi-Finalists of the 1st Flight.

6. The Centenary Cup
Will be held for one year by the winner of the 2nd Flight Match Play.

7. The Jackson Trophy
Will be held for one year by the Competitor with the lowest gross score over day one’s 36 hole Stroke Play.

8. The Handicap Trophy
Will be held for one year by the Competitor with the lowest nett score over day one’s 36 hole Stroke Play.

9. The Jackson Trophy, Handicap Trophy and Consolation Plate will be decided by count-back if necessary.

10. The Kent Team Challenge Shield
Will be awarded to the team of players from the same Club who return the lowest total of their three best Scratch scores over day one's 36 hole Stroke Play. The team can consist of between 3 and 5 players.
