Bradley Cook 2024 (Women) Rules

Bradley Cook Format
5-a-side team with all matches played off scratch. Players may change from one round to the next but a player can only represent one Club in any one year.

To be played as a straight knockout on an aggregate home and away basis. Where the number of entrants does not complete a standard 32, 16, 8 etc draw, a preliminary round will be played. All teams losing their first match will be entered into the Bradley Cook Plate competition.

Previous year’s semi-finalists to be seeded.

Matches to be played with one home and one away leg. All matches are to be played to a conclusion (that is, no halved matches). The winners will be the team with, over the two legs, the most matches won; if tied, the aggregate holes won shall be calculated (with a win in extra holes counted as 1 hole up); if still tied, the lowest handicap player in each team on the day of the second leg shall play extra holes to determine a winner.
A match comprises of two legs, one home and one away, and for a player to be eligible to play in the final, they must have played two legs. Teams playing in the final will be required to submit their team sheet to the office, 5 days prior to the finals date for a player check to be completed.

Players to tee off in ascending handicap index order.

Caddies are allowed throughout the competition.

Contact
Each team to make contact within 2 weeks of the date of the initial draw. At the time of contact, at least 4 dates, spread over a minimum of 4 weeks, must be offered, and must include 1 weekday and 3 weekend dates. Should a team fail to make contact, within 14 days of the initial draw date, the opposing team may claim home advantage for both legs of match.

Results
