9 Hole Championship CANCELLED (2 of 4) (Mixed) Rules

THESE RULES APPLY TO EACH OF THE 9 HOLE CHAMPIONSHIP EVENTS

1. Eligibility
All Competitors must be Playing Members (male or female) of any Club (18 or 9 hole) affiliated (and up to date with the payment of affiliation fee) to KENT GOLF LIMITED and possess a WHS Handicap Index.

The Kent club must be the player’s HOME CLUB.

2. Entries will be limited to the number permitted by the Host Club and, if necessary, in events 1 to 3 longer handicaps will be subject to ballot; for the final event the 10 players with the most points from events 1 to 3 (in each of handicap and scratch) will be entitled to a place should they enter and, thereafter, longer handicaps will be subject to ballot.

3. Individual Events
Play will be over 9 Holes of medal Strokeplay. The Kent Golf General Competition Conditions shall apply. All ties will be decided by count-back. Shots received will be adjusted as necessary in accordance with the Rules of Handicapping published by the R&A for mixed gender/mixed tee competitions.

4 Overall

In 2021 there are four 9 hole events scheduled, for those who play in multiple events, there will be an overall champion. The winner will be the person who accumulates the most points over the three events allocated as follows 12 points for a win, 10 points for second place, 8 points for 3rd place and, thereafter, 7 to 1 points for 4th to 10th place respectively.

5. Caddies
Caddies are NOT allowed.

5. Prizes
Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places - both Scratch and Handicap and, at the final event, to first and second in the Overall category
