Mannings Heath played host to the second league match of the year against Sussex and Hampshire.
We were great at the top with Luke Jenkins and George Edwards winning both their games and Jake Antoun narrowly loosing to a very inform Harry Malin from Sussex. 5 wins from a possible 6 from the top 3 is always good.
The tail finished off Sussex early which was a great result considering they just beat us in the first game at North Foreland.
With the last 3 matches all going to the last hole, it could have gone many ways. Hampshire ended up holing a snakey 30 footer across the green to win their last game and get a half 8-8 in the match. Lucas, as solid as ever at the back went down to a birdie birdie finish with everyone spectating.
With Hampshire beating Sussex, the league is wide open with Kent narrowly sitting on the top.
