An incredible finish in his second round saw Jacob clinch a fantastic victory in this years Kent Junior Championship at Mid-Kent Golf Club. After a first round 69, he didn't start his second round well, a lost ball on the 3rd, led to a triple bogey to leave him 4 over par after 3 holes. Mental strength showed though, as 6 birdies followed, including 3 in the last 4 holes, to claim a one shot victory from Callum Tibbs. The best second round belonged to Callum, with a 68 to go with his opening 71. John Ingham was 2 shots back with 141 in Third place. Callum and John were also winners of the team event for Chart Hills golf club. Oliver Lewis-Perkins was the winner of the Under 16's Packman Trophy and the Richard Young Cup for the best Nett score of the day with 135. Fantastic golf played with great spirit and attitude from all of these young men, well done to you all!

A fantastic result for the Under 18's in their triangular match away at Goodwood golf club on Sunday 17th June. The final score of Kent - 4, Sussex - 2, Hampshire - 0 was a convincing one, with many of the matches being won early! Captain, Jensen Hull, leading by example as he only needed 14 holes to see off both of his opponents. But with many other players also having convincing wins, it was very much a team effort!
Well done and congratulations to all the boys that played!
