Kent Senior Women's Team win first league match of the season

Kent senior women's first league match of the season was held at Nevill GC on Friday 5th May on a day when the weather gradually improved as it went along, but with a cool and variable wind always being a factor.
The match turned into the usual ding dong battle between the two counties. This fixture is always a tough one and we were therefore very pleased to come out on top by 3.5 matches to 2.5. Both teams were sat watching the 18th hole as the final pair played out the denouement with the score tied at 2.5 matches each. Fortunately it was Kent who came out on top with an excellent par to close out the match.
