Kent Women's Senior Team win 4-2 in their league match against Surrey

Kent senior women's second league match of the season was away at Woking GC on Thursday 11 May on a pleasant day with little wind and the rain staying away until we finished. Although there was little challenge from the weather conditions, the course was soft and playing long due to the wet Spring. With the course's big greens and little run on them, good putting was needed.

Our top 3 players were all in good form and set us up for a very valuable away win against a strong Surrey side. We've now played our two away matches in the league and have won both, which is an excellent start in our defence of the league title.

Thanks go to Woking GC for their warm welcome and presenting the course in excellent condition.
