The third leg of this year's Invictas tour saw us return to Boughton (The Cave) for another day of skills tests and play on the academy course. With a total of 34 youngsters taking part, it was sure to be a busy day with lots of smiles and laughter.
In the Invicta 12s section, playing 18 holes, Louis Garvey took top honours with some consistent play and five shots behind him was Dexter Stavri. Rounding out the top three was Zac Ward.
In the Under 10s, Oliver Deane-Bowers was the winner over 9 holes with 33, just nudging out Reggie Jones and Noah Norman who both had 34.
In the Skills tests, the overall winner was Jeremy Li, with Noah Norman taking the Putting prize and Lyla Jones emerging triumphant in the Chipping. There was a four-way tie in the Driving contest (we obviously need to make it harder!) between Harrison D'Arcy, Oscar Robertson, Oliver Deane-Bowers and Arthur Cuffey.
Well done to everyone for coming and taking part and to Sophie Daws, resident Professional, for helping out so enthusiastically on the day.
Next stop is Etchinghill on the 3rd of August. We hope to see you there!
