Independent Software Vendor licence renewal

England Golf can confirm that we continue to work closely with the Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) that provide our clubs with club/tournament management facilities (see accredited list here). A renewal to the current ISV licence has been agreed and signed by ISVs from the 1 July 2023.

There are amendments which directly effect our clubs/competition organisers:  

• You can no longer generate a unique membership number through an ISV, this can now only be generated through the clubs' WHSâ„¢ platform log-in. 
• There is a change to the score amendment process so only the Home Club has the facility to do this, as per the rules of handicapping as they are responsible for a player's handicap. Competition organisers MUST ensure they have everything set up appropriately prior to closing a competition in their software, as once the scores are uploaded, only the home club can change/amend.

These changes will continue to ensure the highest levels of integrity of the WHSâ„¢ system.
