The wind was blowing with intent, but at least it was a bright and dry day at Mid Kent for this year's women's ABCD Autumn Meeting.
In the Division A medal, despite carding two triple bogeys, Anne Wheble (Dartford) just managed to sneak the scratch prize by one shot from Kim Morris (Sundridge Park). Taking the nett honours was Ali Chapman (Prince's), one stroke ahead of Jude Mackenzie (Sundridge Park).
In Division B (stableford), the winner was Sue Gofton (West Malling) with the best- of-the-day 38 points, narrowly beating Gillian Todd (Mid-Kent) on 37.
Division C winner was Jane King (Dartford) with a steady 36 points, with Sandy Charlick (Sundridge Park) taking the runner-up spot with 32.
And congratulations to Debra Exall (Nizels) for becoming our first D Division winner for a while - we hope to have more enter next year!
Many thanks to Marilyn Brown and Helen Johnson for running the day and presenting the prizes, and Mid-Kent for their hospitality and the lovely meal after golf. Next year's ABCD will be on the 26th September at West Kent Golf Club.
