U16 Boys Trials Day report

13 boys entered the U16s trial at Stonelees yesterday, hoping to earn one of the six available places in this year's squad.
The boys warmed up on the driving range, then were observed playing 9 holes on The Heights Course by Squad Coach Gary Bason, Team Manger Kev Saunders, Kent Golf Lead Coach Tim Milford, and Advanced Academy Coach Nick Olson.
Some excellent swings and shots were on show, the future of Kent Golf looks positive!
Those not selected will be invited to join the Advanced Academy sessions at Chart Hills, where their progress will be carefully monitored.
A big thanks to Stonelees, the welcome and facilities they offer continue to impress.
