Men's 1st Team league match v Sussex report

The 1st Team went down very narrowly to Sussex in our first league match of the season yesterday, at Cooden Beach GC.
After a 2-2 even morning Foursomes sessions, it was all to play for in the Singles.
It was extremely tight all day, with an outstandingly high standard of play from both team. The majority of matches saw scores well under par from both the winners and losers of each tie.
Sadly, it wasn’t to be for Kent, with Sussex playing some incredible golf to take a well earned and deserved victory.
We wish them well for the season and look forward to welcoming Hampshire to Wrotham Heath GC on May 26th for our best league fixture.
