U16 boys half with Hampshire and beat Surrey

Kent U16 boys had a long journey this weekend to Southampton, where they were to face Hampshire & Surrey.
All attended the practise round on Saturday in extremely hot conditions. All agreed it was extremely useful, as Romsey GC was a very tight tricky venue. Sunday was a bit cooler with the opposite wind to the previous day. All played well.
Kent halved with Hampshire and beat Surrey. Leaving the weekend Victors, as Surrey only managed a half with Hampshire.
An extremely tight affair and well worth the trip. U16 boys ended up a close second to Sussex over the season.
