Kent U14 Boys trials day report

The Kent U14 Boys' trials were held at the weekend at a very blustery Pedham Place Golf Centre. The Academy Course was in remarkable condition despite all the heavy rain and snow we've recently had.
20 boys attended the trials, each playing 9 holes of medal golf, and then undertaking driver speed and 7-iron assessments under supervision of the coaches Tim Milford and Peter Parks.
From the 20, 14 will be selected over the next week or so to form the 2025 U14 playing squad. Those not selected will be offered the monthly U14 development squad training, which is held at Pedham Place with Kieran Poole. This is the ideal session for them to be in, as they are closely monitored and the coaches are always discussing boys who show marked improvements in any part of their games.
