Women's Team Waltz report

What glorious weather we had for the 2025 Women’s Team Waltz at Nizels GC! It was more like July than May as our enthusiastic competitors took to the course to play one of our less common formats.
With each team comprising three players, one stableford score would count on the first hole, two on the second, and all three on the third. This is then repeated for all eighteen holes.
There was some terrific scoring on display, and the 78 points from the Boughton team of Dawn Prosser, Becky Philpott and Joan Gray was only good enough for third place. Runners-up, with 81, were the Ashford trio of Catherine Hazelden, Maria Grieve and Jenny Ursell, just missing out by one point to the worthy winners from Sundridge Park – Elaine Lopategui, Farah Davidson and Nicole Waddington. Many congratulations!
