Women's Champion of Champions report

The 2025 Women’s Champion of Champions competition took place at Littlestone Links on a calm but slightly chilly mid-May day. The course was looking in terrific condition with some very testing pin placements for our female club champions.
There was some good scoring in the benign conditions and after shooting a two-under par 71, helped along by six birdies, Sittingbourne’s Nicola Smith took the trophy to be Kent Champion of Champions for 2025. A super round of golf and a very worthy winner. Defending Champion, Anne Wheble (Dartford), was runner-up with a 74, with Alessandra Kutz (Prince’s) one further back in third.
In the handicap event, Jennifer Hunt (Wildernesse) played a blinder and dropped only two shots playing off a handicap of 8 to take the honours with a nett 67. Just one behind was Sidcup’s Angela Rossi, with Sue Smollett (Chislehurst) rounding out the winners with a nett 70.
