On an extremely testing day, Danny Smith (Sundridge Park) prevailed in a ‘sudden death’ play off against Matthew Woolf (Royal Blackheath).
Earlier in the day John Coupe (Prince's) co-leader after Round 1 with a 74, matching Danny Smith’s score, saw his challenge falter along with the majority of the field in the challenging conditions.
