On Wednesday 11th June, the final of the Cecil Leitch 5 Club Tournament was held at the much improved Ridge Golf Club, Chartway Street, East Sutton, Maidstone.
This is the culmination of over 1500 players from Kent's golf clubs, with over 60 men and women contesting the final.
Prizes were presented by Club Manager Warren Doust (left in the picture) and KCPFA's President Richard Young (on the right).
The Men's winner was Barry Rose of Eltham Warren GC off a handicap of 20, scoring 39 points to win the trophy.
The Ladies' winner was Fiona Kelly of Ashford GC off a handicap of 35, scoring 43 points to secure the Ladies' trophy.
We were fortunate with the weather and our hosts at The Ridge GC, who looked after every aspect of the day and ensured all golfers were made welcome.
Our thanks to them, to Kent's golf clubs and all finalists for making the day a success, raising over £9,000 for the Kent County Playing Fields Charity.
