SEG Boys' Qualifier 2025 report

Perfect course and weather conditions were presented to us at the SEG Boys' County Qualifier at Clandon Regis GC in Surrey. Kent's team of Jack Swift (North Foreland), Scott Antoun (Wildernesse), Lennon Hill (Sundridge Park), Tom Chapman (Littlestone), Haiden Matos (Dartford) and Arthur Saunders (Littlestone) put in a steady morning performance and were within reach of the leaders Hertfordshire and Essex despite a course record by Essex and a couple of good sub par rounds from Hertfordshire.

Lennon and Haiden kept spirits up in the afternoon, coming in with -2 and -4 respectively, but rumours about a Hertfordshire albatross were true. A new course record by a Hertfordshire lad, backed up with a solid team performance, saw them win with an incredible team score of -15.
