Kent Women's Senior League v Essex match report

Thunderstorms were predicted for our 3rd league match of the season, and they duly arrived midway through the round, with players finding shelter wherever they could when the klaxon sounded. Fortunately, they passed through quite quickly, and we were able to get the match finished with only a short delay. This may even have helped some of our team as they came back to win after the storm had abated.
We are delighted to have shown such resilience and beaten a very competitive Essex side, with the result being in the balance until the last 2 matches finished.
