Despite a little sprinkling of unexpected rain, our budding young golfers took to the course at Eltham Warren with their usual enthusiasm.
Twice around the 9-hole layout provided a good challenge for our players, and the best in Division A (handicaps 12.5 to 24.4) was home player, Ralphie Baker, with 30 points. Just behind on 29 was Travis Bartholomew (Upchurch River Valley), who nudged Rory Shaw (Sundridge Park) into third place on countback.
In Division B (24.5 to 54), we had a runaway winner in Max Everard-Pennell with 54 points – showing great promise! Our runner-up, with 34, was Sidcup’s George Aldridge, and Leo Horne (Westgate & Birchington) rounded out the prize-winners on 31 points.
