Kent Men's Senior Team match v Hampshire report

The Senior Men's Team completed their SE Group League matches against Hampshire yesterday at the Wildernesse Club in Sevenoaks.

Kent ran out an impressive victory, winning 7-3. As ever, the match was played in a friendly but competitive manner, in good conditions on a superbly presented golf course.

Team members' winning points were James Jones (Wrotham Heath) with a conceded eagle on the 18th hole, Richard Tomlin (Sundridge Park) 4/3, Phil Judge (Bearsted) 1 up, Phil Bramall (Chart Hills) 2 up, Steve Robson (Canterbury) 5/4, Frank Adams (Langley Park) 2/1, Richard Partridge (Wildernesse) 5/4.

Our other team members putting up strong fights were Martin Farbrace (Sene Valley), Phil Palmer (North Foreland), and Bob Florence (Rochester & Cobham Park).

The team now move on to the Regional Foursomes Finals at Swaffham GC in September for their final match of the season.
