Kent Futures Jamboree report

Our final Futures event of 2025 was held at a warm and welcoming Cobtree Manor on another beautifully sunny day. Eighteen youngsters took to the course for a stableford, and it was clear to see that a summer of practice has paid dividends, as there was a lot of good scoring on display.
Taking top spot in Division One (handicaps under 25) was Teddie Charlesworth (Chislehurst) with 36 points, on countback from Kiko Robinson. Just behind on 35 was Sundridge Park’s Rory Shaw.
In Division Two (handicaps over 25), Ralph Bridge took the spoils with a splendid 43 points, with runner-up Henry O’Brien (Weald of Kent) on 40. Completing the prize circle was Oscar Robertson with 39 points.
Our thanks go to Cobtree Manor for their excellent hospitality, and we hope we can return in the not-too-distant future. Finally, a big thank you to our Kent Golf volunteers – Tim, Adrian, Linda, and Cathy – for giving up their time to help run the competition.
