Our final 2025 Race to St. George’s Qualifier took place at a slightly rainy, slightly sunny, very windy Royal Blackheath Golf Club, where 48 youngsters made a final bid to win one of the coveted twenty spots at the end-of-season finale.
Emerging victorious in the scratch competition was Elliot Swift (Boughton), thus bagging his second win of the season and extending his lead at the top of the Order of Merit. Henry Vaughan (Chislehurst) took the runner-up spot on countback from Marley Klosek (Prince’s).
Mia McManus (Rochester & Cobham) took the nett honours on countback from Wrotham Heath’s Fin Wheeler, with George Kane (West Malling) finishing third.
Our thanks go to Royal Blackheath Golf Club for supporting this competition and to our invaluable team of Kent Golf referees and volunteers – Helen, Jon, Allan, Tim, Adrian, Paul C, and Paul D – for giving up their day to help our young golfers around the course.
Also, thank you to our Race to St George's Events Sponsor: Kent Golf College www.countygolfcolleges.co.uk
