Kent’s own Abe Bignell wins in Texas

A huge congratulations to 19-year-old Abe Bignell from Kent, who has taken victory at the Waco River Classic in Texas. Representing McLennan Community College, Abe finished an impressive 8-under par, securing the title in style by 5 shots with a final round of 66, against a strong collegiate field.
It’s another fantastic step in his golfing journey, and we’re proud to see Kent talent making waves on the international stage. Well done, Abe — the future looks very bright!
