Meet our new Men’s Senior Team Manager – Andrew Francis

“I have played sport all my life, in my younger days I represented Staffordshire at Badminton and played semi professional football. I took golf up in my early 30s at West Malling Golf Club, then moved to Bearsted Golf Club in 2007, where I have been both Club Captain (2016) and scratch team captain.
My lowest handicap has been +1, and I'm currently playing off a 1 handicap.
I am a retired Police Officer and represented the British Police golf team on a number of occasions. My greatest golf achievement was qualifying for the 2019 British Seniors Open and being lucky enough to play the practice round with Tom Watson.
I have played for the Men's Senior Team for the last 5 years and have enjoyed the high standard of golf and the camaraderie in the team. I look forward to taking on the added responsibility of being the team manager and hope to continue the success the team has had.”
