Kent girls finished 4th in the 2025 Alresford Cup

Kent girls did well at Alresford GC in the annual Alresford Cup on Sunday, 21st September. Playing against 7 other counties, we just lost out on countback for 3rd place, but the girls had a wonderful day.
Our team was Ella Lewis (Cherry Lodge) in the plus to 8 category, Imogen Kennard (West Malling) and Daisy Beckett (Upchurch River Valley) in the 9 to 14 category, Kayleigh Hendrikse (Upchurch River Valley) and Rhoovie Zhandire (Kings Hill) in the 15 to 22 category and Valya Scott (Rochester & Cobham Park) in the 23 plus category. The format was best 4 out of 6 scores.
Well done to all, and especially Imogen, who was our highest scorer with 38 points and came 2nd overall.
Congratulations to Surrey, who were the Alresford Cup winners, and for their fantastic victory in the Women’s County Finals at Selby GC up in Yorkshire.
