Congratulations to Billy Adams (Eltham Warren) on his two hole-in-ones in 9 holes!

Date published: 28 Sep 2025

Billy played in the Junior Summer Knockout competition at Eltham Warren when he had his first ever hole-in-one on the 1st hole, which is a 133 yard par 3. He teed off with a 9 iron and said he hit it well and that it looked to be very close to the pin. But as you can’t see the bottom of the hole from the tee box, Billy had no idea it went in until he got up to the green. When he found his ball in the hole, Billy ended up jumping around the green with excitement...

But that was not the end of it, as Billy then got his second hole-in-one on the 9th hole (a 193 yard par 3), after hitting a 5 iron and being worried that it was too long when he couldn't see it on the green... To Billy's amazement, he found his ball in the bottom of the cup again!

Billy and his opponent were both in disbelief, and there was again lots of jumping around the green with excitement. At this point, Billy was 4 up in his game of matchplay. He continued playing well on the back nine and won his match 6&4. After the match, Billy's family met him in the clubhouse bar, where they got the members who were in the bar a free drink to celebrate Billy’s extraordinary achievement.
