Captain’s Reflection
Tony Adams, Kent County First Team Manager, reflected on an eventful week:
“We were really disappointed with ourselves after the first couple of days. Both matches were incredibly tight and could have gone either way, but we just fell short against two very strong sides.
"However, I’m really proud of how the team responded yesterday. To bounce back with a good performance against Gloucestershire showed tremendous character and resilience. It was the perfect way to round off what was an incredible week of golf.
"Huge congratulations to Leicestershire & Rutland on winning the championship for the first time in the competition's 99-year history - thoroughly deserved. We’d also like to thank all the other counties for some brilliant matches played in a brilliant spirit throughout the week.”

Looking Forward
“We look forward to playing for the opportunity to be back here next year,” added Adams. “The experience has been invaluable for our squad, and we’ll use it to come back stronger.”
