On a pleasant October day, with a chill in the wind but some lovely sunny spells, the Kent senior women's team were hosted by Surrey for a friendly match at Addington Palace. The course is very hilly, and local knowledge of where the ball might run to was a considerable asset. The greens were also quite slopey and running well, so good green reading was required. It was a very tight contest with the 2 counties winning alternate games, ending up in a tied match at 2-2.
Many thanks to Addington Palace for hosting and providing the largest slices of cheesecake we’d ever come across!
