Rochester and Cobham Park GC hosted the league Finals Day on Sunday 12th October, and presented a course in the best condition.
The juniors played two excellent finals worthy of the course. All 24 players were credits to their respective clubs and to Kent junior golf in general.
Upchurch River Valley GC emerged as this year’s Champions with a 2-1 win over Sidcup GC, with the winning putt being sunk by 10-year-old Valya Scott.
Another new name was also added to our list of winners as Tudor Park GC lifted the Plate with a 2½ - ½ win over Sundridge Park GC.
GSR (Golf Sim Rooms) continued their very generous and much appreciated sponsorship of the league, providing prizes that were presented by Rochester & Cobham's Club Captain, Bernie Scotland, a big supporter of junior golf over many years.
