Faversham Golf Academy is an exciting collaboration between Faversham Golf Club and The Abbey School Sixth Form, which offers students the opportunity to develop their golf while staying in full time education.
The golf programme is fully funded and includes weekly PGA Coaching, Full Junior Membership at Faversham Golf Club, Daily Practise and Weekly Matches all built into the pupil’s school timetable.
“We hope to offer this amazing opportunity to as many aspiring golfers as possible. The fact the programme is fully funded is giving everyone the chance to become a great golfer, something we are immensely proud of.
The Abbey School 6th form has a great track record of achieving excellent results and allows its students to study a wide range of traditional A Levels and Vocational BTEC courses. A high percentage of their student’s progress onto studying at many top universities across the country.
“Combining the weekly golf lessons and plenty of time on the course is enabling our pupils to develop and improve. Faversham Golf Club is a brilliant club and the course is always in great condition, providing an excellent venue to learn and improve.”
