Michael Saunders (Dartford) wins Kent Cob and Bishops Bowl
Michael Saunders of Dartford Golf Club & England International set a new course record 64 at Knole Park Golf club on his way to winning the Kent Cob last Saturday from Liam Burns (Sundridge Park), who just beat Dan Brown (Chart Hills) third by one shot.
Michael then went on to win the Bishops Bowl at Wilderness Golf Club the next day again from Liam Burns with George Mullins (Langley Park) 3rd, with Mark Collins (Chart Hills) one shot behind in 4th.
Michael was also awarded the ‘Roberts Salver’ trophy that’s presented to the overall winner of both events over the 72 holes.
