Junior Organisers' Meeting report

There was an excellent turnout for the 2026 Kent Golf Junior Organisers' Meeting at Bearsted Golf Club where over 20 clubs were represented by their Junior Organiser, General Manager, Club or Junior Captain.
The attendees were treated to some first-rate presentations which led to some very productive discussions. It was particularly heartening to see some of the juniors getting involved as it is vital we understand what they want and expect from their golfing experience at both club and county level.
Our thanks go to Bearsted Golf Club for hosting this event again and for looking after us so well throughout the evening. To the speakers on the night - Tim Ewer (KG Junior Development Officer), Loo Brackpool (KG Women and Girls Development Officer), Scarlett Newing (EG Young Ambassador), Mark Timlett (GSR Junior Foursomes League Secretary), Adrian Cole (KG Safeguarding Officer), Allison Boozer (EG Club and County Support Officer) and Natalie Mutter (Golf Foundation Area Manager) - a very big thank you for giving up your time to attend. Your knowledge and passion for golf is invaluable and will undoubtedly help the junior game in Kent go from strength to strength!
