Kent Foursomes Finals

The final of the Kent Amateur Foursomes was contested between Littlestone and Knole Park.  The aggregate foursomes format sees two pairs from each club playing all 18 holes, with the 18 hole scores on each being added to ascertain the winners.

The winners on the day were Littlestone Golf Club with one match being all square at the close and Littlestone being well ahead in the other.  The Junior version of the same event saw Littlestone's juniors playing Walmer & Kingsdown in a repeat of the 2016 final.  Once again, Littlestone ran out the winners - Walmer & Kingsdown being 3 up in one match but Littlestone being 5 up in the other.  The Captain's Cup, the mixed contest, was between Faversham and North Foreland with North Foreland running out as winners 2 up overall.  Thanks to Mid Kent for hosting these finals, to all the supporters that turned out on the day to support their clubs and to the volunteers who were there to referee the matches.

Pictured below are the winners who collected the trophies and their mementoes from Anne Billings (Kent Ladies' Captain) in the case of the men's contests and from Elaine and Chris Tappin who presented the trophy they initiated to the mixed pairs.
